Happy leaf littered and winding road, happy electric slide into wintertime, happy harvest, Tannatians! That cider up top is an important and timely new arrival from Basque country. Communal life has been a mainstay of Basque culture for centuries. The barrel on the label (and in the name) refers to large barrels for storing cider– and pouring cider in large dining halls. Each barrel, as it ages, creates a dry elixir with unique properties, and as people gather for dinner, they hover around the cider and pour glasses of fermented apples straight from their favorite cask.
