Step 1:

Place all the ingredients in order on the table so you don’t get any trouble finding them when you need. And get your hands ready to knead the dough. Don’t worry the mess, we learn from it.

Step 2:

Lightly grease the baking sheet. Preheat your oven to 350 F.

Step 3:

In a large mixing bowl. Mix the all-purpose flour/ bread  flour and salt together.

Step 4:

In a separate bowl, pour 2 cups of  water and honey together and mix, shake them well. Ensure that the honey is completely dissolved in the water. Honey will give the loaf moist and nice sweet.

Step 5:

Now pour the water honey mixture into the mixing bowl where you already make the flour mixture. Add 1/4 cups of melted butter to the mixtures. Mix well. At this step, all your hands will stick a lot of dough but after a while, when the dough is mixed well, it will release your fingers.

Step 6:

Continue stirring the dough with the remaining butter and sit aside for later. When the dough has rested enough, it will become softer. Sprinkle some flour on a flat table, or baking mat, this method helps the dough not to stick on the surface. Place the dough on top of it. Then carefully  knead the dough for 10 minutes with your hands on a floured surface.

Step 7:

Using the baking knife to divide the dough into four pieces and then make them round. Place the loaves on the baking sheet and get them baked. To make them better smell use the brush to apply butter on the loaves, this also make the loaves creamy

Step 8:

It takes 45 minutes for every single piece to be baked in a preheated oven, do not forget to baste butter every 15 minute. Until the loaves have turned golden brown.

Step 9:

After 45 minutes, use the brush to apply on top of loaves with the beaten egg. Bake for another 15 minutes, turn off the oven and remove the loaves.

Step 10:

It is a good idea to break the whole loaf  into smaller pieces before serving. This bread does freeze well, make sure the bread is completely cool before freezing. Put a cup of water into the oven every time you reheat the loaf.
